Passion For God

This one is always going to be at the top – it’s foundational.  Every Christ-follower is in the process of becoming like Jesus, and that takes prayer!  Please pray that we treasure Jesus, the Word of God (the Bible), time with God (prayer & mediation), the people of God (fellowship), and God Himself, most of all.  We want everything we do to echo Romans 11:36.

For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things.
To Him be glory forever.
Amen.

Our Marriage

Marriage is perhaps the greatest picture of Christ and His Bride (the Church), so we want the Lord to bless us.  We want people to see Christ in us – what better way than through a husband modeling Christ in self-sacrificial love and a wife modeling the Church in willing submission?

This mystery [marriage] is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Ephesians 5

Elias and Olivia

Pray that they will grow “in wisdom and stature”, that they will love Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, and that God will give us wisdom how to raise them and show them the character of God.

Revival in Central Europe

Pray for God to send His Spirit to breathe new life into the lives of peoples throughout this region, as John 3 talks about. Apart from the divine and sovereign act of God, we cannot believe! Pray that His witnesses (us and other believers) will be bold and clear in their proclamation of the Good News, and pray that Jesus’ lost sheep would hear His voice and believe!

Ministry Opportunity

The opportunities are endless, aren’t they? The challenge for us is to be selective about what kinds of things we can do. Pray for that kind of wisdom for us, and pray that God works each time we open our mouths, play an instrument, lift a hammer… it’s all from Him and through Him and to Him.

Would you pray that the Lord would bring more partners for our ministry?

Pray that the Lord would continue to raise and sustain spiritually fruitful interactions with sending individuals and sending churches… not just for our financial and prayer support, but also that we would help to spark a passion for God leading to missions wherever we go. We want to be sender-encouragers as well as goers!
